Apple has announced another postponement of its white iPhone 4.
The new date for the release of the white iPhone 4 is now Spring 2011 and some analysts believe that the product might not be released at all.
At least that is what the problem that is causing the delay suggests. It is rumored from “close sources” that apple is having problem with the phone’s camera if the white casing is used.
The flaw affects the image formed by the camera because of the extra light that the white casing absorbs.
The problem was only realized very late into the testing of the products new casing and it seem Apple have to come up with the solution or risk abandoning the idea altogether.
However none of the claims has been confirmed by Apple. The release of the white iPhone 4 has now been postponed three times and Apple’s official reason for the delay is has been that it is much difficult to build the iPhone in the white color.
Lets hope Apple eventually find a way around the problem and release the much anticipated white iPhone 4. It is good though that Apple is not rushing the product at least that shows that Steve Jobs and his men have learnt from their famous antennae problem.
