THREE BODIES FOUND STUFFED IN A HOLLOW TREE

Police in Ohio have been able to recover the three bodies belonging to a family that were reported missing more than a week ago. The police are currently holding a suspect in connection with the killings.

The suspect, Matthew Hoffman directed the investigators to the bodies that were hidden inside a tree. The bodies were wrapped inside a garbage bags and hidden in the woods. The recovered bodies have been identified as that of Tina Hermann and her 11-year-old son, Kody Maynard. The third body is that of a family friend called, Stephanie Sprang.
Tina’s co-workers became concerned when she failed to report to work on the 10th of November. When the police got to the house, they realized that the place was covered in unusual amount of blood and that was the first time the police suspected a foul play. Tina’s 13-year-old daughter, Sarah who was also abducted was later found gagged and bound at the basement of the suspect’s house. Hoffman was found near the family’s seemingly abandoned truck at the campus of Kenyon College and the police questioned him.
Hoffman who is 30 years old is currently being held in jail. He has already appeared before a court on kidnapping charges and he is the only person being held for the killings. He has not entered any plea. The motive for the act was not indicated.
