City of Tarakan in East Kalimantan, Indonesia tense due to clashes between indigenous tribes of Kalimantan with migrants, Monday (27 / 9) morning.
The clashes that occurred around 02.00, triggered due to the death of a local resident in a fight.
Currently, local ethnic from islands around the island of Tarakan began coming to Selumit, regions populated by locals. They equip themselves with Mandau (saber) and Sumpit, unique weapons tribe who live in Borneo.
The tense caused many shops close.
The local police have declared 1st degree of alert to anticipate the worst situation.
