Malaysia’s opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim has said that his wife has never seen pornography and is not interested in watching the video that shows a prostitute having sex with a man resembling him.
“She has never seen smut all her life and she has reiterated that she is not interested in watching the video concerned,” The Star quoted Anwar, as saying.
Former Malacca chief minister Abdul Rahim had said that Anwar’s wife Dr Wan Azizah wanted to watch the video and had asked it to be delivered to her personally.
He refuted the claims and said that she did not want to watch the video, as it was unlawful and sinful.
He alleged that video was masterminded by Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak and his wife Rosmah Mansor.
Anwar also linked the video production to Home Minister Hishammuddin Hussein.
He also questioned why the people behind the video were not arrested. “This shows the video is a political ploy to smear me,” said Anwar.
Earlier, during his speech Anwar has denied that he is the man in the video, he also denied the allegations that his wife and daughter were turning their backs on him.
