STUDENTS WOUNDS 2, KILLS SELF IN U.S. HIGH SCHOOL SHOOTING

A student shot two people Wednesday afternoon at Millard South High School in Omaha, U.S. state of Nebraska. The suspected shooter's body was later found inside his car a few miles from the school.

The suspected shooter is identified as Robert Butler, a senior at the school. His body was found inside his car at an office complex a couple of miles from the school. Investigators said he died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Omaha Police Chief Alex Hayes was quoted by local TV as saying Butler is the son of an Omaha Police Department detective.

The wounded include Curtis Case, the principal of the school. he was in serious condition at Creighton University Medical Center. The second victim, Vicki Kaspar, an assistant principal at the school, was also in critical condition.

Butler was enrolled at Lincoln Southwest High School last fall, but transferred to Millard South recently.
