A former New South Wales doctor, who has been accused of mutilating a patient's genitals, has denied changing his notes after she complained.
The man who can only be referred to as GSR has pleaded not guilty to causing the woman grievous bodily harm in 2002.
The Crown case is that the 58-year-old thought she was having a small piece of skin removed from her genital area, but woke up in severe pain with her clitoris removed.
The former doctor's lawyer has argued his client was trying to save the woman's life.
When asked by the prosecutor if he changed his notes after he knew the patient complained about him - the doctor told the District Court he 'hadn't touched them'.
