Craig Dykstra, the former America Online executive who served a five-day jail sentence in December for secretly taping nude teenagers at his home, has been indicted by a Fairfax County grand jury on five felony charges of possessing child pornography.
Dykstra, 52, was first arrested last June, two days after hosting a pool party at his Centreville home following the Westfield High School prom.
A Fairfax police search warrant affidavit said a teenage boy and girl who were changing clothes in a room inside Dykstra's house found a small digital video camera, removed it and took it to the boy's parents. Police then found video of eight different teens, including a naked girl, changing in the room, the affidavit stated.
Police searched Dykstra's home and seized a dozen computers, seven cameras and various data storage units. He was charged with the misdemeanor of filming an unconsenting nude person, was found guilty in July, and sentenced to 10 days in jail.
Misdemeanants in Virginia serve half of their sentences, and Dykstra surrendered in December.
But police continued to examine the computers and storage units they seized from Dykstra. On Wednesday, the grand jury's five-count felony indictment was unsealed.
Dickson Young, Dykstra's attorney, said Dykstra would surrender soon, and that "we have been working with the prosecutor to figure out what the nature of these allegations are." No specifics are provided in the indictment.
