Twelve people were reported missing after a boat carrying 30 passengers capsized in eastern Indonesia Friday afternoon, Xinhua reported.
The accident occurred at about 17:30 p.m. local time (1030 GMT), one hour after the vessel left Palue island in East Nusa Tenggara province, a rescue official said.
“We have rescued safely 18 people out of about 30 people on board,” he told Xinhua.
