A man who was said to be smelling of alcohol stole a chicken and forced it into his pants at a grocery store in Louisville. The man, Steven P. Malone, was stopped and questioned by the personnel of the grocery store.

Steven P. Malone was walking down the aisle of the Valu Market with his pants literally down at his knees. The 4-pound chicken was stuffed in the front of Malone’s pants and that pushed his pants down. Personnel of the shop stopped Malone who was then smelling of alcohol and searched him.

The police records say personnel of the grocery store had earlier seen Malone stuffing the poultry in his pants. After forcing the pack down the front side of his pants, Malone tried to smuggle chicken out of the store without paying. That was when the personnel of the store stepped in and arrested him. He smelled of alcohol and police suspect that the man was intoxicated. That has also been added to his charge sheet.

The search also yielded two packages of M&M. He was handed over to the police who have charged him with theft and public intoxication.
