The 2011 edition of the Consumer Electronics Show is being eagerly awaited.
As with all the previous years, this year, there are several gadgets to look out for during this year’s show.
When it comes to the home energy management division, all eyes will be on Verizon. The company will offer its home energy management service during the show. The service will depend on a gadget from 4Home to control certain devices in the house. Motorola has acquired 4Home and it seems Motorola will be providing the hardware.
The show will have a dedicated location called the Electric Vehicle TechZone. That zone will take care of all the Electric Cars on the show. As it’s always the case every year, all the major auto makers will have their stand at the EV section of the show.
Those that will visit the show will have the privilege to see at first hand how wireless power works. Several companies like Texas Instruments, Nokia, Philips, Samsung and Duracell will be displaying their various products that implement the concept of wireless power.
On display at the show will be Universal Power’s new solar machine that they claim is a portable solar-powered generator.
