In a shocking turn of events it has been come to view that an elderly woman named Shillinglaw Johnson who was earlier declared dead by the police was actually still alive. Several hours after being declared dead when an employee of State Anatomy Board went to collect the remains of the 89-year old Shillinglaw Johnson they found her to be still alive. Apparently the police officials who declared her dead in the first place did not check her pulse.
According to the recently published police report the police officials noticed an odor that was similar to the smell of something decomposing in the house on October 1. The police were responding to call made by a concerned neighbor who could not see Shillinglaw pursue her daily activities.
When the police broke into her house, Ms Johnson was blue and not breathing at all, which led the officers to believe that she must be dead. The police officers made the mistake of not alerting the medical services as soon as they found Ms Johnson. The place found out from her son that Ms Johnson wanted to give away her remains to the State Anatomy Board for the cause of science. Strangely enough the State Anatomy Board’s employees were the first one to realize that Ms Johnson was still alive.
Ms Johnson woke up when the State Anatomy Board’s employee started inspecting her. Ms Johnson was rushed off to the Baltimore Washington Medical Center for intensive treatment. Although Johnson was released a few days back, she expired 15 days after the county police officers discovered her.
