A 28-year-old woman, her 9-year-old daughter and a 16-year-old boy were shot dead overnight in Chicago in apparent drug-related killings, police said Monday.
According to Xinhua, the woman’s another 4-year-old child was also shot, but is in stable condition in a hospital, police said, adding they were questioning the woman’s partner.
The shooting incident happened about 10 p.m. in a south suburban apartment in Chicago.
Police found the woman’s partner in the second-floor apartment where the bodies were found. They said he is talking to police but is not considered a suspect.
