A 78-year-old man has been charged with allegedly trying to entice three young girls into his car in Sydney's west.
Police say about 2pm yesterday, the Mt Druitt man was sitting in his vehicle in the shopping centre car park on Jersey Road, Plumpton, when he called out to three girls aged 12, 13 and 14.
The man allegedly asked the girls to get into his car and made suggestions of a sexual nature, police say.
He then allegedly gave the girls some money, which they spent at a fast food restaurant.
However, a concerned member of the public contacted police, who later arrested the man.
He was charged with commit act of indecency and three counts of use intimidation to unlawfully influence person.
He was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Bail Court today.
