M LOGO (McDONALDS) MYSTERY ON CARLA LANE ISLAND CHAPEL

Boat operators in North Wales found a giant McDonald’s sign on top of an abandoned church on an uninhabited island. The island belongs to animal rights activist and comedian Carla Lane. It is mysterious how the giant golden ‘M’ logo got on the top of the building that was once a chapel.

Upon closer inspection, the logo seems to have been nailed to the roof of the structure. The structure with the sign was photographed by local boatman Roy Gregory. The 66-year-old told reporters that he believes someone placed the logo on the roof just to play a prank. He was however surprised how the person got to the island because the weather hasn’t been that friendly lately.

He said that, “We were running a trip towards the island, when I looked up and there was a McDonald’s sign. Someone obviously thought it was a funny place to put a sign. But it’s a mystery how they got it there - the sea has been quite rough over the last few days.”

A spokesperson of Carla has hinted that the TV show creator is aware of the presence of the sign on the abandoned chapel. She bought the island in 1992 and announced that she will use it as a habitation for wild animals.

The spokesperson said Carla is not ready to talk about the logo now.
