Authorities say six people have been wounded following a shooting in south Los Angeles.
Sheriff's department Lt Sergio Mancilla says the shooting occurred about 12.30am on Monday (8pm Singapore time) at a residence at 112th in the Lennox area of the city.
He tells The Associated Press that all six were treated and stabilised at a hospital and none of the injuries is life threatening.
Authorities are searching for a gunman driving a dark colored vehicle.
Lt Mancilla, who is with the south Los Angeles Sheriff's station, says investigators still haven't determined what sparked the gunfire.
He says authorities were alerted to the violence by area residents.
No other details were immediately available.
