Over 100,000 college graduates in China started their own businesses in 2010 amid mounting unemployment in the country, an official said.

The Chinese Association of Higher Education will soon launch a nationwide online platform on entrepreneurship education to help more graduates to become self-employed, Xinhua reported.

In 2010, universities across China conducted more than 20,000 entrepreneurship education activities in which over three million college students took part.
