The new Duchess of Cambridge is the fashion diva to look out for. Kate Middleton recently met the Obamas dressed in a nude, fitted Reiss dress that showed off her slim figure to perfection. The photographs of the event were splashed all over and soon the $300+ dress was flying off her shelves.
This is the 29 years old first public appearance after coming back to London, after her honeymoon with Prince Charles in Seychelles. Needless to say, her dressing style is going to be the cynosure of all eyes and she sure didn’t disappoint on that front at all. Prince Charles’ mother – Princess Diana was a fashion diva in her own right and she seems to have found her heiress in the form of her daughter-in-law.
The dress worn by Kate at the meeting with the Obamas was named as the ‘Shola’ and it complemented the tan that she had acquired as a result of the Seychelles honeymoon. The Reiss website was deluged with traffic with orders for the dress and it completely sold out in a matter of minutes. The news was confirmed by a spokesperson who said that the website traffic increased by 300%.
