Several tons of Publix branded ice creams have been recalled. The recall affects the “Premium Light Tiramisu” flavor.

The recall which was announced by The Georgia Department of Agriculture is mainly due to the detection of almonds in some products. The almonds are unlisted as an ingredient of the product.

The recall is necessary because when it is consumed by a person with an allergy to the product, it can result in fatal consequences.
