A 24-year-old man stabbed his wife after a quarrel and then committed suicide Tuesday in Ghazipur area in east Delhi, police said.According to police, the couple got married eight months ago. They used to fight all the time. After a heated argument Tuesday, the husband Nadeem stabbed his wife Iram.
“Fearing of legal action the husband committed suicide by hanging himself. The wife was rushed to hospital, where her condition is said to be critical,” said a police official.
The police have sent the man’s body for post mortem examination and further investigation is on.
