A nineteen year old Nebraska woman was arrested on domestic violence charges after she allegedly attempted to cut a tattoo of her name off of her boyfriend’s neck during an argument between the two.

Tressa Amerson was placed in jail on Friday night after she reportedly took a paring knife and went after thirty year old Ronald Miner in his homes in Lincoln. He was said to have sustained minor scratches in the altercation, which occurred during a fight which ensued because Tressa felt that Ronald had “broke her car”, according to Miner, who also told the police that Tressa and himself had been “having ongoing relationship problems for the past week”.
An officer confirmed to seeing scratches on the neck of Miner, where he had a tattoo with “Tressa” inscribed. The two scratch marks ran along the tattoo. Miner was also arrested just last month for an outstanding bench warrant.
Tressa denies assaulting Miner, stating that she had “been sleeping all day”. Police did find a small paring knife on the floor of the livingroom, and she was booked into the Lancaster County Jail. Miner said that he had been dating Tressa for about a year, and got the tattoo, which is about 2” by 2” back in July. When he was asked whether or not he considered the suspect to be his girlfriend, he replied, “Kinda, sorta, not really”,and added, “She’s pretty crazy”, according to the Daily Mail.
